BIA Intelligence · Trust and review

What a directory listing tells you, and what it does not.

BIA Intelligence separates public directory inclusion and listing markers from the deeper founder review described in BIA’s verification process. Read each profile within the scope of the information and review actually shown.

Evidence and scope

Keep the claim, evidence, and review scope together.

The directory’s stated initial inclusion screen describes an operating business, evidence of a product or service, and real customer activity. That is the stated screen; it does not establish that every current listing has been assessed against it.

Directory inclusion

A public profile is a directory listing. The inclusion screen is not full due diligence and does not establish investment readiness. See the individual profile for the information it presents.

“Directory listing” marker

The marker identifies a directory listing. It is not a certification, an endorsement, or evidence that a business completed the separate founder-verification process.

Separate founder review

The BIA verification overview describes review areas including:

  • Identity and BVN / NIN / CAC checks
  • Deal pack and references
  • Final review
