BIA process overview

How BIA verification works.

BIA’s review process helps founders present clearer information and helps investors assess structured opportunity context before a conversation.

This is a process overview, not a promise of funding, returns, regulatory approval, or investment outcomes.

The review path

Four parts of the BIA process.

The exact depth and timing can vary by founder and opportunity. These are the current process areas BIA uses or presents where supported.

  1. Founder submission and review

Founders submit key details about their company, traction, and ask. BIA reviews the information and makes the outcome clear before a profile or opportunity is presented.

  2. A current vetting trail

    The review trail can include:

    • Identity
    • BVN / NIN / CAC checks
    • Deal pack
    • References
    • Final review
These checks are review signals, not a guarantee of a founder, business, funding, or investment.
  3. Structured opportunity context

Approved founder or opportunity presentation can organize the information investors need to assess fit, including sector, stage, geography, ticket size, and the approved presentation context.

Structured context is intended to make diligence conversations clearer; it is not an investment recommendation.
  4. Milestone evidence and release-step review

Where a deal supports it, milestone records may include due dates, proof URLs, progress notes, and statuses such as pending, submitted, approved, rejected, and released.

Submitted proof is reviewed before an approval or release record is recorded. This is where supported, and BIA does not represent itself as holding escrow.
Capability boundary

What is live, and what is forthcoming.

BIA is deliberately specific about the difference between current review and access surfaces and future product possibilities.
